The increasing demand for trained nurses across the world made the nursing a good career option. Gurukul Nursing Institute started in the year 2019 under the Godawari Charitable Trust (2008). The institute is committed to achieve excellence in Nursing education, Clinical practice and Community service. The college prepares nursing students to be excellent clinicians and leaders, who will work to improve the health and health status of the society. The program prepares individuals to assume the role of professional nurses who can practice in a variety of health care settings.
The Nursing programme was started with the aim of providing excellence in teaching, research, service and leadership. Our Institution offer innovative learning approaches through classroom teaching with the help of modern technology and clinical teaching by adopting various methods such as bedside teaching, case study and case discussion, video teaching etc. We periodically conduct workshops and conferences to update the Knowledge & skill of the students as per the Maharashtra University Of Health Sciences Nashik. We regularly update to the parents about the academic performance of their students. Apart from academics; importance is given to character building and discipline among the students to prepare them for their professional life in society.
The combination of computer training and exposure to the modern diagnostic equipment and hospital training will certainly equip our students with the capability of easily adopting to the ever changing technology in the field of health on one hand and will provide highly qualified health professionals on the other hand which is the need of the hour in our country.

A student upon successfully qualifying in the Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing should be able to :-
The selection of the student programme outcomes include based on the following criteria:
- Relevance of the outcome for assessing and improving the quality of the program;
- Identification in professional standards and guidelines, whether it is representative of either cognitive, affective or performance outcomes;
- Frequent identification as a relevant outcome currently being evaluated by a large number of the schools surveyed;
- Emphasis in the literature; and measurability using existing tools and methods that are readily available, reliable and valid.
Programme Specific Outcomes
Apply knowledge from Physical, Biological and Behavioral sciences, Medicine including Alternative systems and Nursing in providing nursing care to individuals, families and communities. :-
These major student outcomes have then been identified in the organizing framework of the BSN curriculum related to the three roles of Learner, Clinician and Leader. Findings and recommendations facilitate curriculum refinement, quality improvement, and strategic planning.
Course Outcomes
At the end of the course the students should be able to practice high quality nursing and be critical reflection in the practice of their profession in various health care settings and educational institutions. The faculty espouses a philosophy which is humanistic in nature and emphasizes the uniqueness, dignity and worth of each person.

Gurukul Nursing Institute was established in the academic calendar year 2019 by the prominent educational visionaries of the Godawari Charitable Trust (Established 2008). Gurukul Nursing Institute
Gurukul Nursing Institute is one of the best premier Nursing College in Maharashtra which started in 2019 and affiliated to Maharashtra University Of Health Sciences Nasik & Maharashtra Nursing Council Mumbai.
The college was founded and is being managed by Godawari Charitable Trust Daryapur, Amravati Dt. constituted in year 2008 aims to train dedicated and expert nurses, capable of contributing towards the development of emerging health care systems in public and private health care organizations, as well as community services. Our Bachelor of Nursing Degree course provides high achieving undergraduate students the opportunity to extend themselves intellectually and clinically, thereby rendering quality care to the general public through our hospital and community services.
The college has excellent physical facilities including labs, well equipped library, classrooms, offices and AV Aids room for Nursing Programme. Our students also have access to the Digital library of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik which has a very vast collection of reference. Practical experience is provided in Godawari Hospital Darayapur. For experience in specialized field students are also given exposure to super specialities Hospital in various area in Maharashtra. Apart from the best teaching faculty, the students are taught by highly qualified visiting nursing teachers and doctors of different specialities.
Our College prepares its graduates to become exemplary citizens by adhering to code of ethics and professional conduct at all times in fulfilling personal, social and professional obligations. We strongly believe that the nursing students are responsible and accountable for quality nursing practice thus they need to be appropriately trained, oriented and directly supervised.

Admission Criteria
- The candidate must be an Indian National.
- Non Resident Indian (NRI) candidates will be eligible only on all India basis in private unaided colleges under the NRI quota.
- The candidate must have passed the SSC or equivalent examination.
- The candidate must have passed HSC Examination (10+2) (Science Faculty) or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) subjects.
- English is compulsory.
- For B.Sc Nursing:
- General Category: PCB - 135 marks, minimum 45%
- Reserved Category: PCB - 120 marks, minimum 40%
- Common Entrance Test i.e. NEET is compulsory.

Gurukul Nursing Institute provides the right ambience for learning. Our college has a sprawling campus with plenty of greenery around. Learning is an enjoyable experience here, with inspiring lecture halls, a library, laboratories, round-the-clock security, and a stationary store among the many facilities available.
The college is situated in Daryapur, District Amravati, which is now a natural choice and preferred destination for students from different parts of the state to pursue professional education. It has an excellent infrastructure and easy accessibility from various parts of the city, with a well-designed administrative block and various other rooms and facilities for students such as girls’ common room, boys’ common room, waiting room, and more.
Library
The library at Gurukul Nursing Institute is a storehouse of knowledge stocking various books on current nursing titles and subscribes to national and international journals. The library widens its services through internet and online journal facilities and is also tied up with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
Classroom
Gurukul Nursing Institute has well-ventilated classrooms with comfortable seating arrangements. Each classroom is equipped with blackboards, OHPs, LCD projectors, and a public address system.
